an approach rooted in presence

Becca and Scott focus on the future of what their photos and films will mean to both the couple and the generations that follow them.

Building trust well before the wedding day, they invite their couples into a space where they can let down their walls and be their truest selves.

With a laid-back approach, The Leighton Co. gives space for couples and their people to fully experience the wedding day, capturing the realness of a moment without interruption or force.

what we offer

ways to remember

When photography and film work together, the story of your day becomes something fuller. A still image holds a moment, while a moving image brings it back to life. Together, they keep the memory of your day vivid and tangible, for you and your loved ones to cherish and pass down.

Analog film has a quality that digital can't replicate. It's warm, imperfect, and alive in a way that feels less like footage and more like memory. Scott shoots Super 8 with full, dedicated attention, giving your film the same intention and care we bring to every photograph. A short, cinematic film of your day, timeless in nature.

We document your day the way it actually felt. Not just the version that was planned, but the one that unfolded. Every gallery is hand-edited by Becca, shot on both digital and analog film, and delivered as a curated collection of images that will still feel true twenty years from now.

- Aubrie, 2025 bride

The photos are so incredible and everything we dreamed of, I already see what it will be like to reflect on these photos in the future. You captured all the ways we felt that day, from the love, the fun, the chaos, the joy, and all moments between. Some have given me such intense reactions and I am so thankful to have the emotions captured forever. You captured the warmth of being together and surrounded by those we love; the sweet yet almost painful grief of nostalgia as my friend slept on the couch like she was little again; the normalcy of an afternoon in the kitchen with my parents and siblings; all of the photos of friendship in laughter and the care for one another other; and the love in stolen moments of connection or shared moments of community. You two are incredibly talented storytellers. I will forever be grateful that you were a part of our story.
